Josh Hogan

Hi guys my name is Josh Hogan but everyone calls me JJ. I was born in the US Virgin Islands before moving to the states. I grew up in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Athletics and fitness have always been a part of my life. From youth sports to high school, all the way to NCAA D1 Track. I’ve been training as a certified trainer since 2014 doing personal training, boot camps, and group fitness. I’ve worked for brands such as LA Fitness, Orange Theory, Shed Group Fitness, Iron Tribe, and a few others. Most recently I’ve been with F45 Training ISI Matthews. Training for me isn’t about getting abs or being the fastest. It’s about helping others achieve self confidence and having a better quality of life. I love hearing your stories and seeing the progress my clients and community makes.

Emily Woods

Hey guys! My name is Emily Woods, but you can just call me Woods. I am a NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach from New Jersey. I was a cross country runner before overuse injuries led me to take up weightlifting, and needless to say I never looked back. I went to Virginia Tech where I got my degree in exercise science in 2020. I’ve coached at Fit Body Boot Camp for 2 years, then moved on to become head trainer and owner of a small boutique gym called Raw Fitness. The business owner life was not for me, so I’ve recently stepped away, deciding to focus solely on group fitness coaching. Now, I am beyond excited to work with everyone at Training Camp and develop even more as a trainer! I love fostering good, fiery energy in group workouts while also being diligent in form correction, and I look forward to bringing my passion for functional fitness to Training Camp. If you didn’t love kettlebells before, you will after a few classes with me!
